Here is a pic of Joe Rogers-KF9LQ and wife Barb-KB9NOG at Stout Field
running net control for the Motorcycle Street Enduro at the 2001 Police and
Fire Games.  Twenty-seven hams from five counties provided communications
around the four county course.  Joe ran the two meter net from 9AM until
3PM.  The Enduro road course crossed six check points between Stout Field
in Indianapolis, Bloomington, Spencer, Eminence, Airport Park south and back
to the Mid-West motorcycle club on south Harding street.   Barb kept track of
every motorcycle rider as their numbers were reported from each checkpoint.
An APRS network of hams provided similar information to an APRS station set
up next to Joe's van. It was operated by James Smith-K9APR.  Jack
Parker-W8ISH was event coordinator.
