APRS demo is big hit at EMS Conference
On August 18th & 19th , 2000 The skunk works hams put together a Demonstration of the APRS+SA Ham radio system at the Indianapolis
Emergency Medical Services Conference (EMS).
During this two day event more than 200 visitors to the State Emergency Management Agency Mobile Command Center (SEMA MCC)
got a first hand look at the location, weather & messaging capabilities of Automatic Position Reporting System(APRS).
On Hand for the two days were Hams,James Smith (K9APR), Herb Caldwell (KF4BCG),
Bob LaGrange (N9SIU) & Chuck (W9IH)
