ARRL Indiana Section -  Net/Traffic Reporting Procedures

Be sure to get the recognition your net deserves. Let Indiana amateurs know that your net is active. This can best be done by reporting your monthly net activity, so it is published for all to see. However, there are publishing deadlines.

Form of Report

Net Control Stations (NCS) are to file their reports promptly, in order to keep Section NTS information accurate and current.  The Section Net Manager & the STM are to report net & Traffic statistics within their deadline.  They should not be forced to chase after stations for reports as the deadline approaches.

Indiana QIN CW Net reports are to be sent to Net Manager, W9ILF, Ivin,  IVINFLINT@yahoo.com

Indiana Traffic Net reports are to be sent to Net Manager K9EOH, Jim,  K9EOH@arrl.net

Indiana Digital ARES Net reports are to be sent to Net Manager WB9FHP, Larry, WB9FHP@frontier.net

Other VHF or UHF Net reports are to be sent to the Net Manager for that particular net.

In order to standardize the Indiana Section reporting procedures, the following message example is to be used by NCSs for their reports.

In summary, if your report is not received by the dates listed above, your report will not be sent on for posting or credit.

The Section Net Manager prefers your report be sent via the NTS (it generates traffic for practice). However, if unable to do so, you may submit your report to the Section Net Manager via e-mail.

However, those reporting to the Section Traffic Manager should do so via e-mail, in radiogram format.

All reports received via e-mail will be acknowledged by the recipient to the sender.

If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact your Section Traffic Manager, Lou Everett, Sr., WA5LOU, via e-mail or landline.
