Minutes of Fall 2004 IRCC Meeting
October 02, 2004

The Fall Meeting was held at the WISH TV Studios in Indianapolis, Indiana.

The meeting was called to order at 2:13 PM by Chair Vicki Rudicel (KB9OME).

A sign in sheet was passed and self introductions followed.

Roll Call:
A roll call was conducted via member list by the Secretary, WA0JTL using the current member information on file. Corrections and additions to the member list was requested. 6 clubs were represented at the meeting.

Moment of Silence :
A moment of silence was observed for Silent Keys and U.S. Troops overseas.

Approval of Minutes :
The minutes from the April 3, 2004 on hardcopy was presented for approval. The minutes were corrected. K9DUR moved to accept the corrected minutes. W8ISH seconded. The motion passed by unanimous voice vote.

Officer’s Reports:

Vice Chair W8ISH;
Selection of 2004 AOY will occur after meeting today. Award Committee present: K9DUR, KB9OME, K9ZX

Five nominations this year. Awards are estimated to cost $200. The award will be presented at the Ft. Wayne Hamfest in November.

The 2004 Technical Excellance Award went to W9IH at the July hamfest in Indianapolis. This award cost approximately $50.

Secretary WA0JTL;
The secretary requested updates on club information via application forms.
Meeting minutes approval.

Treasurer K9DUR;
K9DUR reviewed financials. Copy on file.
Balance of $2103.57. $93.10 more spent than received.
Motion made to accept the report by K9ZX. W8ISH seconded. Motion passed by unanimous voice vote.

Committee Reports

Bison Stampede
WVARA will sponsor the 2005 Bison Stampede Plans for a mini Field Day setup with four HF stations on the air. Contacting special event station in the Indiana QSO party will earn bonus points. A certificate will be available for contacting club station.

Membership
The status of the member clubs was discussed. An IRCC Roster of about 35 clubs with about 85 clubs statewide accounts for approximately 25% of all clubs. Much discussion about how to involve more clubs in the meetings. Discussions include "virtual" meetings via IRLP or internet.

Old Business:

Audit Committee
2004 Audit Committee: K9ZX, W8ISH, K9APR, K9DUR
W8ISH volunteered to sponsor the audit meeting at WISH Studios on January 15, 2005 at Noon.

Membership Committee
Addressed during Committee Reports.

New Business

Spring 2005 Meeting Location
HCARES will sponsor this meeting in Noblesville.

Fall 2004 Elections
The four officer positions are scheduled for this election.
Directors scheduled for election in 2004 currently filled by K9ZBM and KB9MOH.
No nominations available from the Nominating committee of - KC9AOR, K9APR (chair), KA9ZEE.

WA0JTL nominated K9APR for the Director position previously held by KB9OMH. K0APR accepted the nomination. W8ISH seconded.

WA0JTL nominated K9ZBM to continue as Director. W8ISH seconded.

K9DUR moved to close nominations. K9ZX seconded. Motion passed by unanimous voice vote.

Count of 6 ballets resulted in unanimous selection of the following;

Announcements
A tour of WISH Studios to occur after AOY Selection Committee meeting concludes.
