| Minutes of Spring 2005 IRCC Meeting

The Spring Meeting was held at the Hamilton County EMA Office in Noblesville, Indiana.
The meeting was called to order at 2:00 PM by Chair Vicki Rudicel
(KB9OME).
A sign in sheet was passed and self-introductions followed.
Roll Call:
A roll call was conducted via member list by the Secretary, WA0JTL using the current
member information on file. Corrections and additions to the member list was requested. 10
clubs were represented at the meeting.
Moment of Silence :
A moment of silence was observed for Silent Keys and U.S. Troops overseas.
Approval of Minutes :
The minutes from the October 2, 2004 on hardcopy was presented for approval. The minutes
were accepted by unanimous voice vote.
Officer’s Reports:
Chair KB9OME
KB9OME thanked W8ISH for the Fall 2004 and the excellent tour of WISH TV Studios.
Vice Chair W8ISH;
The 2004 Technical Excellence Award went to W9IH at the July hamfest in Indianapolis. This
award cost approximately $50.
The 2005 Technical Excellence Award will be presented July 9th
at the Indianapolis hamfest at 11 AM in the Forums Tent. This year the call for
nominations started earlier. Deadline for submissions is June 10th. K9DUR will
provide certificates for all candidates.
Call for three volunteers for Award Committee. Committee is K9DUR, Sonny
McCoy and WA0JTL.
Secretary WA0JTL;
The secretary requested updates on club information via application forms.
Meeting minutes approval.
Treasurer K9DUR;
K9DUR reviewed financials. Copy on file.
Balance of $2066.51. 2004 Audit Report available for review. Motion made to accept the
report by K9ZBM. K9ZX seconded. Motion passed by unanimous voice vote.
Committee Reports
Bison Stampede
WVARA will sponsor the 2005 Bison Stampede in May. Plans for a mini Field Day setup with
four HF stations on the air. Contacting special event station in the Indiana QSO party
will earn bonus points. A certificate will be available for contacting club station.

K9DUR reported that 19 clubs had paid 2005 dues to date.
W8ISH suggested all "talk up" the IRCC at every possible oportunity.
Old Business:
Audit Committee
2004 Audit report on file with Treasurer, K9DUR.
The not for profit status is an open action item for KB9OME.
New Business
Information exchange
K9DUR discussed creation of an information mailing list created for IRCC.

Fall 2004 Elections
Three Directors are scheduled for election at the Fall Meeting.
Directors scheduled for election in 2005 currently filled by Wayne Pinckney , David
Spoelstra , Jim Rinehart .
Action item to align election process with new constitution provisions of alternating 3
Director elections.
Resource List
W8ISH asked for an update of the INARRL.ORG Resource List. W8ISH to email any corrections
to WA0JTL.
Indiana ARRL Section Appointments
K9ZBM is looking for replacements of the ARRL Affiliated Club Coordinator and Technical
Coordinator for the Indiana Section.
Announcements
K9ZBM reported that a power company in Evansville area was going to install BPL. General
discussion of BPL followed.
