Reports:
Sci. & eng. Fair project: Jim K9RU
All goes well. We have 4, $50.00 cash awards to present plus books from ARRL and Indy Hamfest admission tickets.

It was decided to give all 4 , but if there wasn't enough worthy possible candidates, we would use the remainder awards for other projects to be named later.

We have ARRL pamphlets (1500) to pass out during the fair.
Jim K9RU handed out the proposed "Amateur Radio In the Classroom" outline to be available for the fair handouts as well.

Dennis, W9CYU agreed to be the individual contact point for the hand out information. We will put his email address & the INARRL web site addresses on the pamphlets.

Kids Day project:  Steve, KB9RDS
The past January kids day was very successful. Group decided to do 2 kid day projects each year. These will be the same as the Co-Sponsored ARRL events in Jan. & JUN. Thanks to Steve for his extra effort.

Awards 2001: Ernest KB9SKI.
The committee has outlined 4 awards for the committee to decide on at the next meeting. They are for:
1-Public Service
2- Greatest Fun
3- Ham Magnet
4- Ham Gadgeteer.
Awards selected will be presented at the Indy July Hamfest. The committee still needs to decide on the selection process to be used and the award design.

July Indy Hamfest booth project:  Vicki KB9OME
This will be an open invitation to Indiana ham clubs to pass out their club information while they staff the booth during the 2001, Indy July hamfest.

Other possible Project discussed:
Don Fulk KB9EQC; presented some information on Home schooling sci & tech fair which occurs each march, the group will visit the march 3 event , this year for evaluation and report in the future on possible project by HYARWGroup.

Bob Simcox agreed to give a presentation at the april 7th meeting on the Hancock Co. Ham classes he has been working with.

Jim K9RU, presented an alternative to the Bison Stampede QSO party.
"Fun Mode Day (Indiana VHF FM QSO Party). The group will be looking at this in conjunction
with the IRCC. The QSO party has been their function for many years but lately participation has been sparse.
