2006 IRCC TECHNICAL EXCELLENCE AWARD

Our 2006 Technical Excellence award winner is no stranger to amateur radio projects.  According to his nomination, Peter Crasher-W9DRB he has spent countless hours working on many repeater systems in his community and neighboring communities.

More recently he has been the driving force in upgrading the EARS repeater system in southern Indiana.  It's become a vital link in the SKYWARN program.

Peter has shared his technical expertise and equipment with many hams over the years.  He is quick to offer assistance to anyone with a technical problem at their home amateur radio station. 

Over the years our top nominee has given of his time and talents to advance communications for the Indiana Civil Air Patrol.  All this while promoting amateur radio in his own home. He can take credit for teaching the fundamentals of amateur radio to his children, wife and grandson. 

It's for these and a long list of other technical contributions that the Indiana Radio Club council present the 2006 Technical Excellence Award to Peter Crasher  W9DRB.

The awards were presented during a special ceremony at the 2006 Indianapolis Communications & Technology Expo July 8th.
