 Active in all club activities

Always looking for ways to promote amateur radio though hands on learning

Organizes fox hunts

Instrumental in streamlining Field Day operations

Volunteer examiner

Conducts amateur radio "kit building" parties

This amateur loves ham fests. He’s been quoted as saying, "If there was a hamfest every weekend with driving range, I would go."

We are pleased he decided to take a short drive to Ft. Wayne to attend the hamfest and be on hand to accept this prestigious award.

The Indiana Radio Club Council hereby presents the 2004 Outstanding Amateur of the Year award to James Osburn WB9EYB from Terre Haute, Indiana.
